[GNC] How to find the transaction entered one minute ago

If you are doing account reconciliation as you go along then you can redo (you an redo as many times you desire) reconciliation to a date that was done last time which would have flagged that transaction as not reconciled (unchecked) in the reconciliation window. Then you can zero in on the date and the description in there and track it down quickly in the account register after completing the reconciliation.

If there is only one incorrect transaction, you can calculate the difference between the bank statement and the actual balance. Open the register for the checking account and use the "Find" command to search for entries with that value. While it probably won't be unique since you duplicated some other transaction, it is probably a smaller list to search.
