[GNC] Best Practice - Year-End

I am thankful for this list... I learn about capabilities here -- this
time, it's the "Total (Period)" column in the accounts pane. Thanks for
mentioning it!

Can the "Period" be set? It appears to default to the current fiscal year;
perhaps current calendar year (those are the same for my situation)
