Hi List,
It seems as though this issue is back. As reported by a few other
threads, GnuCash is crashing again on paying bills or invoices.
I noted a lot of the responses are "This was fixed In Oct patch" and it
did indeed seem to be fixed back then. It appears as though it is now back.
Trying to run GnuCash to mark some invoices as paid and it is constantly
crashing. Note, if I pen the "Pay Invoice" dialog and then Cancel, it
still crashes.
Build: 5.13 Build 5.13-unknonw-commit(2025-11-06)
Again, this is on EndevourOS will all the latest updates applied.
Data store is a Maria Database.
Is this regression a known issue, and do we have a current fix in place?
Note, I have not tried the nightly patches, as this is a fairly new
build, and all the responses I've seen so far just reference the fix
being applied in October, which it was, as I sucessfully ran it after
that fix for a couple of weeks.
I'm going to try creating a new Ubuntu machine with flatpak to test it.
Regards,
Jeff.
