[GNC] Scheduling Monthly Transactions for Full Credit Card Balances?

Tom, I don't think there's a way to do all of what you want, but you can
do most of it.

Make your template transaction with the same variable for the debit to
your credit-card account and the credit to your checking account. Then
when the transaction fires, GC will prompt you for the amount. Since you
will have used the same variable twice, you'll get only one prompt.

In the user manual and concepts guide I couldn't find any mention of
this possibility, but you can read about it in this Wiki page:
