Hi Jon.

Forgive me if I have misunderstood you.

At the budget report options dialog window, go to the Accounts Tab and 
increase the number of the Account Display Depth, I always use 6 to see 
all sub-sub-sub accounts.

Let me know if this works.

Always allow the budget editor to add up its own sub totals. If you type 
something there by mistake, just delete the value and it will add the 
subs...
