[GNC] Strange behavior with Linked Location

Hmmm, this is a behavior unexpected: I had specified a Linked Location with
'file:///' URI for a folder. After relaunching GNC, I went back to verify
the location and it converted into Linked File and showed up as such with
just the last stem of the path. While I am running 4.12 on Windows 11, would
someone verify if this is happening on latest 5.x build on any OS?

 

Is this expected behavior or should this behavior be reported as bug if it
behaves same on 5.x -- that of changing the type of linked document?
