[GNC] Gnucash download insufficient permissions

I'm not sure what is up with your computer, and still can't follow what
you are describing. (apparent lack of screenshots) but if you are
getting 'insufficient permissions' trying to save a file no matter what
browser you are using, I'd bet dimes to dollars you're trying to save to
a folder you don't have permissions to save to.

Solve that first.

Perhaps that might involve a new user account, but likely just trying
different save locations might do the trick.

You never said *where* you were trying to save the file, and if that was
indeed your user's default 'downloads' directory.

So far, this doesn't appear to be an issue with GnuCash, but rather your
computer, your user account on that computer, or your browser. (and/or
your anti-virus and its settings)

Best of luck.

Regards,
Adrien
