[GNC] gnucash 5.14 quarantined by Avast

Hi

 

I installed the Windows version 5.14 from Sourceforge site and this was
completely quarantined by Avast stating 'infected with FileRepMalware
[Misc]'

 

I then downloaded the daily update file
gnucash-5.14-2026-01-06-git-5.14-30-g966d42b8bft.setup.exe.  This installed
but Avast quarantined the following files:

 

                                aqofxconnect-tool.exe

                and        aqpaypal-tool.exe

 

                both located in C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\gnucash\bin\

 

                said to be infected with 'Win32.Evo-gen [Trojan]

 

Are these two files genuine parts of gnucash and if so, has anyone else had
problems installing under Avast Antivirus software?
