This isn't the case of any repeated text. Most things are the same, but I'm having to enter the same dollar amount multiple times, and I was hoping to be able to get around this.

 

I knew that in a scheduled transaction, one can use variables; I wasn't sure if variables could be used in regular data entry.

Just to answer OP, GNC does not have any built in facility to automate as such. You'll need help from the OS facilities for such needs, which have been mentioned by various folks. YMMV based on the workflow you adopt.

Hi Richard,

Assuming you're still using Windows, I suggest you consider using AutoHotkey.  Mapping a hotkey to copy the amount entered in a field, and then tab over and paste the amount 3 times should be straight forward.
