Yes

but it may smarter to put Account 1 and Account 2 as subentries under
Account ABC so that if you decide you want to move Account 2 out of
Account ABC in the future you can do it by simple means.

I have spent a lot of time in over 25 years of electronic accounting
recategorising transactions. My needs for the data expanded, and I have
the dentist and the pharmacy in the one account. In the future I may
want to split those, and I will have to move transactions individually.
If I had started with the dentist, pharmacist and physio all in
separate accounts it would be easier to sort out even simple matters
like "when did I last have a clean and descale"
