[GNC] SX

Stan & John,
No I'm looking to trigger a SX, say on the 19th, but have it recorded on the 18th. My bank posts interest on my account for the 18th, but I don't see that posted until the next day. Gnucash triggers the SX on the 18th, when I open in the morning. I don't know th amount until the next day as the bank posts at the close of business, not in the morning. I can go back and adjust. But there are many account per month that need to be adjusted.

Thank You,

Gyle McCollam

As John Ralls says, it's "Create in advance" on the Overview tab.

I use this for my social Security and annuity checks, both of which are
direct deposited to my Checking Account account. That lets me see both
the payments I've scheduled using my bank's Bil Pay, and the known
income, so that I can see whether I will have a shortfall and will need
to transfer money from savings.

Create in advance takes only a positive number of days, so you can have
a transaction post before its date, but not after.
