NO! You don't want all the HTML stuff, that will at best be ignored and

It was probably ignoring the whole thing: see above.

Try something like
 * {
    font: 50px consolas, sans-serif
}

(The * means that what follows in the {} applies to everything. If you 
replace the * with something else it has to match the name of some 
element of what's being displayed, and you don't know what is going to be 
valid.)

The "consolas, sans-serif" tells it what font you want it to use; if 
"consolas" isn't available, use the system default sanserif font. You can 
replace "consolas" with anything you might prefer (but best keep the 
"sans-serif" and the comma).
