The account in question is irrelevant.

If you want to see a report of the transactions in any single account
I've already given you the two options.

1. Run an Account Report *while viewing that account register*

a. Open the desired account register by double-clicking on the account
name in the list on the Accounts Tab.
b. Click on the Reports menu, then click on Account Report.
c. Once the report opens, you will see a new Options button on the
toolbar. Click it to get the Options dialog and make changes as desired,
and click 'Apply' when done.

2. Run a Transaction Report and select *only* the account you want in
the Accounts tab of Options for that report.

a. Click on the Reports menu, then Transaction Report.
b. The report will run, but will be blank, and you will see a notice to
select accounts.
c. That Options button will again be visible. Click it, go to the
Accounts tab in the Options dialog (not the main Accounts Tab in the
GnuCash window) and select only the account you want. Change any other
options on other tabs as desired. Click 'Apply'.

There is no need to Edit any account to do this.

To change the column widths, drag the right-separator-line in the header
left or right. Do this for all other columns *except* the Description
column. Do that one last. When you are ready to make the Description
column 'fit', drag the right-separator-line to the LEFT a fair distance
and then let it go. It will snap back to the right, but auto-sized to
not produce scroll bars. (that is, Description will fill the balance of
the horizontal space in the window)

I've attached a screenshot showing the header and marking that
right-separator line and even put an arrow pointing to it.

For all columns *except* the Description column, you can double-click
their headers and they will auto-size to fit the content of any
transaction in those columns. (similar to spreadsheet apps)

ALWAYS size the Description column last.

If you don't like the Description column filling the remainder of the
space and being so wide, you have one option:

Size your overall window smaller horizontally and then re-size the
Description column as described above.
-----

(*note - you will see my header is blue instead of green, and shows a
'Notes' field — that is because I've changed the colors and turned on
View > Double Line)

Adrien
