If by 'in front of' you mean the left-hand separator, I specifically 
advised that is incorrect in an earlier post.

You do not resize a column by dragging the left separator, only the 
right one. Therefore, if you dragged the separator 'in front of' or to 
the left of, 'Transfer' then you are really dragging the separator that 
controls 'Description', not the one that controls 'Transfer'. The one 
you grabbed, and the one I circled in the screenshot is the one that 
snaps back. It should be the only one that does so.

You may want to at least temporarily turn on View > Double Line so you 
can see all possible column separators. Some are nested under others, 
such as the R (reconciled) column and the Transfer column.

p.s. - I read the list in 'plain text' so I can't see your blue 
coloring, but thanks I suppose, though black text is just fine by me.
