[GNC] Relationship Between Reminder Fields

When you are in Gnucash and select Edit/Preferences/Scheduled 
Transactions, you can set the number of days to be reminded in advance 
of upcoming transactions. When you are in Gnucash and select from the 
menu Actions/Scheduled Transactions/Scheduled Transaction Editor you can 
select from your list of reminders to edit an individual reminder.  This 
gives you a chance to select a number of days by individual reminder.

My question is: What is the relationship between these two fields if 
any.  Does one over ride the other?  Which one takes precedence?
