[GNC] Register Display

Some registers go back to when I 1st started using Gnucash in 2015, but others don't go back that far.  I have one account that only goes back to 09/2025 and I know it's not the 1st transaction because the total balance and the transaction amount are not the same.  There are transactions prior to what is showing.  How do I get all the transactions to display.  I checked "Edit/Preferences/Register Defaults/Number of Transactions" and it is set to 0 (Zero).  I ran "Check& Repair" and that didn't help.
