[GNC] How do I print a transaction register

Sorry, but I have to introduce a little humor here.

You don't know it, but you just asked an 86 yr old man what he did 10 
weeks ago.  I think that answers the question about how GC got installed.

I did try the flatpak version and I was able to get a transaction 
register.  Charlie will explain to me how to set a permanent variable.  
(the 86 yr old thing again)
