Once again, please use Reply-All to keep this on the list.
First, it is not clear to me whether this message is intended as a reply to my message of 6 May or not. Maybe you should try looking at *that* message and see what you've got to say.
Second, it is also not clear to me how you said on 30 April that you backed up your file, but now you say you didn't. Did you, or didn't you? Or are you considering the act of saving your file "backing up?" (Hint, it's not--but if that's what you meant, then it's not likely that you're opening an older copy accidentally)
Finally, I'm out of suggestions on how you might fix your problems. I'm sorry you're having them, but it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to fix them for you. Another reason to keep your replies on the list-- so someone else might be able to help.

So I re-entered everything and reconciled it, and made a new backup on April7. Today- SAME Problem. Now that account has no purchases . only payments going back to August of 2025.Ys are indicating everything reconciled -so where are the purchase entries hiding???? No other accounts are affected.

That is the difference between $709.96 and $1736.68 and also the difference between the cleared balance and the closing balance in your screen shot. Figure that out, and your problem should clear up. Perhaps you've entered something twice, or the ending balance wasn't entered correctly.
