[GNC] Sharing Some Changes With the GnuCash Community

Thank you, and I am glad to share. I hope it is useful for others or even a starting point for anything in the future (pull requests are welcome). 

Being able to keep true accounting (I enjoy having solid numbers and knowing the effect of every penny) and use the reports mainly as a communication tool (my wife just needs the 20-second version) has been huge in our house.

If I have some time in the coming weeks, I plan on trying to get the Windows portable version to look as nice as the 5.15 version.
