[GNC] empty transactions

Commits in the account registers is quirky, my choice of term. Maybe all those quirks are carefully documented in the manual. I'm not so sure.

Often when the commits get too quirky, I just close GnuCash and reopen. Then some of the quirks disappear for more commits. Maybe that's in the manual? I don't remember seeing that in the manual, but nevertheless that's my personal experience.
