[GNC] New computer not showing all transactions

I'm using Gnucash on both ARM (Mac Mini M4) and an older Intel Mac (2014
Intel i5) with no issue, same versions as the OP by the looks of it..

Sounds to me more like your other suggestion might be the answer? Perhaps
OP is double clicking on their Gnucash file expecting it to open that
particular file but it is opening the last used file instead.  This is a
known issue on macOS -

If this is the case OP try File >> Open instead of double clicking on the
file in Finder.

I often had issues with dropbox and sync latency/delays and the GnuCash
.lck file not being deleted as expected so gave up using it eventually
however that may have changed over the last few years :-)
