Well, I see the problem, and compliment you for respecting the users’ privacy, but now one is somewhat hoist upon one’s own petard. You can’t see who’s doing it without somehow being informed of where the requests originate, which would violate their privacy.

In fact, even if you did change the logging detail, it might not resolve the issue if they one way or another wound up continuing to use the old code.
