Somebody in Germany has written a tool to clean up QIF files. I think so far 
it only runs on windows. Nevertheless it might be interesting for users here 
who try to import QIF files from some windows program, but run into 
unexpected problems.

of that page). Well, sorry, it seems that all documentation is in German. And 
the program probably as well...
