RFC: Gentoo and Berkeley DB versioned functions.

is there a chance that this patch can go into the cvs-tree??
i'm also using gentoo to 'test'&'play' with the gnome2 version of 
gnucash (and sometimes in the future I can perhaps help with some 
code....). I had always installed an extra db installation into my 
testing-directory to get the cvs stuff to configure.... now I have the 
patch from Priit (thanks a lot!!) but it woud be nice to see the 
gnucash-gnome2-devel branch to configure on the gentoo mashines out of 
the box (....ahh I mean out of cvs ;-) )
