Hello Nigel,
do you have any plans to implement the feature as requested at
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364378  ?

I do not program in C and I do not know how to programm code for Gnucash but 
we could make a donation if that helps or motivates somebody to implement the 
feature.

On the one hand we would want to honor / reward the work for implementing the 
feature and on the other hand (economically) it would still be a lot cheaper 
to spend some money for having this feature in Gnucash than to switch back to 
a Windows based accounting software that offers all these features and redo 
all the accounting work.
