All of the 2.0.x tarballs contain a completely up-to-date ChangeLog (of
the 2.0.x-branch). The current one, as shipped with the
gnucash-2.0.5.tar.gz tarball, can be viewed online here
http://svn.gnucash.org/trac/browser/gnucash/branches/2.0/ChangeLog?format=raw
and obviously gnucash *is* keeping a useful ChangeLog. Not to mention
the summary in the NEWS file,
