I'm totally unfamiliar with any version before 2.2.2, but I assume that you
always could change those matchings. But you had to know to double-click,
and the introductory pages of the QIF druid that explain that were not shown
by default until 2.2.5. So I suspect that many users have never seen them.

In any case, I've finished the changes and committed them as r17162. I'm
afraid that all the translators now have a bit of work to do.

One thing that you can do now, but not previously, is select multiple rows
and change the GnuCash account for all of them at once. Those changes are in
r17156 & 17157.
