Can you please send the full set of commands you used to configure, build,
install, and run gnucash?  Feel free to copy it all to pastebin and send
the pastebin URL.  Without the exact commands you are using I cannot help
you.  This paraphrasing of your commands makes it impossible for me to
debug.

To quote my ex...  "Show me, don't tell me"  SHOW me what you did.  Don't
tell me what you did.
