Hi Martin,

Your account tree should look something like this:

Assets
     Bank1
     Bank2
     Savings1
     Savings2

Expenses
	Widgets
	Groceries
	Whatever else you want

Income
	Wages
	Investment Income
	Other Types that you need

If you spend £100 on groceries from Bank1, then the transaction you enter in
Bank1 goes to Expenses:GRoceries as the transfer account .

The chart of accounts view will total all the balances for the Bank accounts
into the top line for Assets.

Have a good look at the tutorial and concepts guide on the GC website for more
detail.

Hope that makes sense.
Maf.
