I am happy to host gnucash.org, for many reasons.

Herbert Thoma hosts his own translation, and I mirror it. I would
be much, much happier if his translation (or any translation)
used the same PHP infrastructure as the main (english) pages.
Herbert has never asked for my PHP sources, and I never suggested that
he use them. I suspect that he does not want to put in the time
and effort to translate the GnuCash website in full.

Mirrors are good. If there is a Savannah server in Germany, and
you want to use that for hosting the german translation, that's great,
as long as I get to mirror that site (with rsync). Or vice-versa,
I can give you write access to www.gnucash.org for the german
translation, and someone reputable in Germany can mirror it.

All that I really care about is that the German translation use the
same PHP structure (i.e. same color scheme, same menubar, etc.)

Huh?? What ?? I do?? I don't know what this refers to.

Why? I don't understand the issue. What's the issue? What's the
problem?
