Hi,
I 'downloaded' a cvs snapshot (15/11/2000 about 10:00 AM-Paris).
Compiled fine but a few crashes when running Gnucash.
I use a myself-compiled Guile 1.4, g-wrap 0.9.12 (compiled) and
latest helixcode RPMS on a RH-6.2.
1) When compiling g-wrap:

with rpmbuild (RPM 4.0.x) I got an error while stripping script files
(strip commands fails). It prevents from correctly building RPMs.
So I installed it 'by hand' (make install). without RPM.
Plus, when 'rpmbuild -ta g-wrap-0.9.12.tar.gz', it cannot find spec file
in gzipped-source. I had to make it from rpm dir and then copy
it to g-wrap-x.x.x/g-wrap.spec. Normal?
both occured also with previous versions of g-wrap.
2) When Compiling Gnucash:

libxml must be >= 1.8.8 or >= 2.1.0 for compatibility reasons
(xmlRootNode) see for details
3) When Running Gnucash:
------------------------
First, when I restart gnucash, it tries to load the latest file
of the previous session (Ok). But I always get an Gtk-dialog error
which tells me that the file does not exists. Known bug?
Second, I opened my old binary-format file that I use with 1.4.8
with 1.5.x. Conversion seemed to work fine. So I saved the file to XML,
work a bit with it and then shut-down. In another session when reloading
the file I got crash with an error (see crash_on_load.txt attached file).
If you want, I could send the initial and XML-translated files to make a
test but they are quite huge (gzipped XML is > 130Ko)
Third, when running a report If I try to print it (even with a new XML file
and only 2 transactions in it) It crashes.(see crash_on_print.txt attached
file).
