The first step would be to port the gnome desktop to darwin.  I don't
know, its possible that someone has done so, or is doing it, but I'm
not up on the facts.   Whatever solution is used there, GnuCash would
piggyback on it, and be more-or-less equally easy/hard.

If you find out more about gnome on darwin, let me know.  We don't have
any mac's handy to play with ...
