You're very cautious in your statements ;-) : in fact it _is_ a profit
and loss statement, but with the entries sorted by amount. I guess this
should be a piece of cake to implement ... 

In money one can also click on the graphic representation of above and
see all contributions to that expense.

Thanks for the hint, one just needs to learn things seeing from gnc
perspective again ...

Room for improvement : definition of custom reports (=existing reports
with certain options set and saved somehow)

What does IIRC mean ?
Anyway, Guppi points to a problem in Guile setup for the Ximian rpm
installations. If the guys over there give me some confidence, I'll now
rebuild Guile from source. (after gnucash is completely running, I'll be
an build-expert ;-( )
