Could you give a more detailed description of what this report says and 
what it looks like? Perhaps this is also achievable by the Profit&Loss 
statement...

The current report state is saved from session to session. However, if the 
reports are closed, they will open again only with the default settings. 
You would need to keep them open at program exit time.

Well, then there's something wrong with Guppi... but IIRC you already 
wrote to their mailing list. Let us know what you heard there.
