I don't know if 3 is a good idea or not.  wanted some feedback.  It
just came to mind and I wrote it down before I forgot. :)

There is some support for 5 already.  I'll work on completing it.  Is
5 necessary now?  Is file loading slow enough to warrant the time
required to implement the progress bar?
