Wrote up an essay abou the 'economics of linux adoption'
and got it onto kuro5hin last weekend

It talks about the macroeconomic and the microeconomic forces
driving the adoption of Linux.  Its a writeup of the topics 
I gave at a class at the UT Business School, so its really aimed
at business students, e.g. has a case study in the middle.
