bug reporting and database

Hi,

There have been some discussions on irc.gnome.org channel #gnucash
recently about the current status of bug reporting - what shall we do
with bug reports?

There is a bug tracking system at

http://www.gnumatic.com/bugs/

That page describes how you can submit bug reports to the bugs database.

There is also a bugs mailing list - for instructions on how to
subscribe, see the page above

Christian wanted bug reports to be put on the gnucash-devel mailing
list.
Bill Gribble said it would be better to let those who wanted to receive
them subsribe to the bugs list.
I tend to agree with Bill Gribble. However, I am afraid that bugs posted
to the bug tracking system might tend to get `forgotten' unless people
receive mail about them... I suppose it's just a matter of getting
people into the habit of using the bug tracking system.

RFC?

Ben.
