Yep.  I tend to think that an awful lot of the config data belongs in
the data store.  Delete the "file" and the config data goes with it.

Also, if we do eventually have a multi-user, remote access,
user-travelling-from-machine-to-machine, setup, then storing most of
the config data in the data store probably makes more sense.
