How about <Ctrl>-<Enter> to confirm a change? Configure it so that if a
user has chosen to have <Enter> move from field to field, <Ctrl>-<Enter>
performs the <Enter> function for the transaction (except for the last
entry field, where <Enter> will actually do the <Enter>)
I've gotten so used to hitting <Enter> to go to the next field (esp for
split trasactions), that hitting <Tab> feels very unnatural.
Anyway, if it's user-configurable, if you don't like it, you can don't
have to use it. The only real choice would be dertemining what would be
the default config. FWIW, when installing Quicken, it asks how you want
<Enter> to work.
