Okay, forget the idea. I was too naive.

I just thought the idea of sending cash in an envelope to an individual
developer is even stranger. That is probably because I'm not used to
writing and sending checks, when I pay for something remotely, I usually
remit money (here in Japan nobody writes checks, in Germany I think only
very few people do nowadays).

Moreover, giving money to an individual developer would make me feel bad
about the others. I don't even know who developed which feature. I would
prefer if there was a way to pay money for a newly developed feature
instead.

Maybe I can change myself and send a Christmas card this year. If you
know anyone who is interested in Japanese yen please give me his or her
address.

I really like gnucash, thank you for all the work you have contributed
to it!
