Hello,

this are my experiences with the HBCI spport of current (two hours old)
CVS.

Gnucash compiled just fine and started properly. I can succesfully
connect to the bank (Sparkasse L=FCneburg) via Chipcard and import the
accounts.

First problem is that the "Online Actions" item won't appear unless I
use LANG=3DC. If not I get:

<snip>
GnomeUI-WARNING **: gnome_app_insert_menus_custom: couldn't find
insertion point for menus!

GnomeUI-CRITICAL **: file gnome-app-helper.c: line 640
(install_menuitem_hint_to_appbar): assertion `uiinfo->widget !=3D NULL'
failed.

failed.

failed.

GnomeUI-CRITICAL **: file gnome-app-helper.c: line 640
(install_menuitem_hint_to_appbar): assertion `uiinfo->widget !=3D NULL'
failed.
</snip>

If I try to get the current balance, GNUCash will report 0,00 (that's
wrong :). A I read on the ML before, this problem seems to be not new
and is AFAIR related to libopenhbci. I'm using currently openhbci 0.9.3,
I'll try current CVS tommorrow.

Related console output is:
Noted balance: 0,00 for account no. 000xxxxxxxx at date Thu Jan 1
00:59:59 1970
Booked balance: 0,00 for account no. 000xxxxxxx at date Thu Jan 1
00:59:59 1970

After that I tried to import transactions, witch worked just fine (the
balance is still wrong, but at least the transactions are imported
correctly).

Another minor demand ragarding the hbci droid: This information about
UserID and IP is saved on the chipcard, so it would a nice feature if
gnu could fetch them automatically.

But besides of that it is really good work. There are no problems with
the chipcard and as far as I can see no crashs. I can't wait to use it
in daily work!

ciao
