If it involves "sales" and "maintenance" and such, then it is most
certainly a "business" activity.

Individuals doing 'personal' stuff don't declare depreciation; that's as
silly as accruing personal bills as accounts payable and running them
through an A/P system.  You only do "depreciation" when there are
activities involved that are on the "business" side of the fence.
