Hi,

The internet connection on which www.gnucash.org and the
gnucash.org mail servers sit will be upgraded sometime after
mid-week of July 23. The new line will have more bandwidth,
which should speed transfers. Note that the IP address of the
website will be changing. This change should be transparent
to everyone; however, if you have trouble accessing this site
after that date, you may want to try to flush your domain name
cache.

Note that the CVS servers will also be affected.

(The new line will be a 768Kbit/sec DSL line, the current
line is a 512K line. Combined trafic on this net is about
45 Gigabytes/month, a little less than 1/3 of the total
theoretical bandwidth of the old line, and less than 1/5 of
the new line. This should make downloads and web access
feel zippier.)

(Note that not all of the above traffic is downloads;
although maybe 1/2 is. The typical size of a gnucash package
is 4MBytes, so the above implies that there are about 5,000
downloads a month.  Just FYI!)
