Good that it helped.

Maybe you can look up the email address of the French translator -- if 
you got the source package, it's in the file po/fr.po in one of the 
first lines where it says "Last-Translator: ...". Maybe you can send him 
an email, saying what the current translation is and what you propose as 
a better translation.
