On Periods, Reports, and Cash v. Accrual Accounting

Hmmm...I'll start playing around with the reporting engine see what I
can come up with....

Btw -- this is part of my earlier interest in the postgress back end --
multi user capability that can beat up the QuickBooks lame so called
multi-user would suddenly put a real SQL backend with a very nice front
end.
