how to build gnucash against recent libgtkhtml?

So that's a documentation bug then. :)  Should I file a report in
gnuzilla? 

I am getting grief from the Debian maintainer of libgtkhtml, saying
that it's an obsolete library, should be removed, and that gnucash is
somehow delinquent in still using version 1.
