No.  The 1.8 code is mostly EOLed -- we're trying to move to g2, in
which case it wont really matter.

Tell him to help us port to g2 -- it's not an easy thing you know.
Gnucash has a lot of custom widgets and porting has been a royal PITA.
Guppi doesn't exist, so we're looking for a new graphing toolkit...
It's just a PAIN.  So, yea, we haven't released a g2 release....
