Among others, libgsl, but I found all those in gnome's cvs.

Anyway, I agree with you, the cygwin environment is just too painfully slow.

I think I'll give up on any Windows version for now. I'm going back to
FC  5 and keep my current quicken database QIF dump on a separate
drive I can access from my Fedora Core OS.
