Hallo!
I'm new at gnucash, but I recognised some things that might be of some
interest:
1. I had problems sending my subscribe emails. Gnucash was blocked from
my smtp provider. The 'not delivered' message from my provider
smtp-relay told me something about gnucash.org is listed on
spamcop.net.
Some days later (yesterday) I received some list-mails dated:
On Fri, 25 Nov 2005 14:01:32 -0400
don Paolo Benvenuto <donpaolo at pretionline.it>
Does that mean gnucash is not longer listed in SPAM-blocklists?
2. By viewing
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129099
I recognised that the htmlsourcecode ist encoded in ISO-8859-1 but
delivered as utf-8 by the gnucash.org httpd. Grabbed from the delivered
header:
---->8-----
...
content-type text/html; charset=UTF-8
...
---->8-----
Maybe it is a good Idea to match encoding to encoding-description in
http-header and meta tags, and whereever it is used.
Either to recode the text files or to deliver them correctly by
reconfiguring the httpd.
I recognised the same in mail-archieves, obviously the german one.
3. According to the same bug mentioned above: is there anything
happened to {optional|additional} use account numbers in
account-selections?
The reason is to use only the keyboard in accounting, and therefore I
would prefer to be able to make selections by typing the beginning of
the item to select.
Thanks,
ervin
BTW: 'emerge subversion' runs in the background...
