Res: Compiling gnucash source from svn

Hi Derek,

    thanks for the tip. You were right.. Looking back at the output I found that it was missing the AM_GCONF_SOURCE_2 macro. Installing 
libgconf2-dev along with some dependencies solved the problem.

Well... I really do miss the good old times when we just untarred, tweaked a Makefile according to the SO and did a make... :-)

Not with just the snippet you put here... These are all warnings.
The actual failure is much earlier in the output; probably very
early in the output.  Most likely you're missing some -devel package.
It probably says something about a missing macro.
